Hi all, haven't seen anyone from yesteryear since the last Trogs reunion in Newquay, so I've a couple of questions to ask. Is anyone who knows me going to the IOW this year? We're heading down to Cornwall for a while thereafter and wondered if there's anything of interest on the weekend after? i saw a Soul night event in St. Austell posted up on a site (www.readysteadymod.com if i recall right?) that has since dissappeared??? Worth taking the Italians along to? Last but not least, is there another Trogs reunion do planned?
Cheers ears, Dean. Rimini.

Hi Dean... No doubt there will be a few of us at the I.O.W, all us Goldspinks for definate..!! ;D As for the soul night, it's on down the Sandy, (if you remember where that is), by a chap called Martin Bate from St Austell... Its more of a DJ set in a pub than a soul 'do'... Mainsteam sounds, rather than your rarer, more obscure, talcum powder and backflips affair... Still, a good night for a drink up and a good bit o music... A few of us St Austell types go from time to time, and as there's no Mersea Island straight after, it could be a possibility... Anyway, i'm sure i'll see you on't island... Take it easy... Lee...

Thanks for the replies chaps. I'll hopefully be over for the reunion again as it was quite amazing last time, seeing so many people again after such a long time. Even Springer was looking top drawer. Badger Rowe and Mags were on form as ever (when you two coming over to visit?) and the only letdown was not seeing some of the old Bodmin Mods (WHERE is Crabby? ). Maybe next time...? Lee G. (sounds like a rapper) ; cheers for the info on the 'Soul Night' out. I'll see you and Alan on the Isle hopefully and then again at the pub in St. A. all being well. Graham ; I'll be back over with some of our lot from here in Rimini and they want to ride around Cornwall some - and Penzance is on their hit list. I'll contact you before we head over so we can meet up. Hopefully that'll make amends for last time I brought the Italians over and I dragged the poor buggers all over Bodmin Moor.... looking for Dozmary Pool, to no avail i might add. I've been away too long..... Dean.

Hi Dean, Glad to see you found us. I've just posted some details of the 25th Anniversary do on the 11th October at the same place as last time (well that's about all the detail we have so far........ you don't really need to look at that thread now! ). Hope it'll be more beer and less food fight this time. I should be at the IOW as well so I'll look out for you. I'm over on the Thursday and staying on Smallbrook so you may not want to be seen associating with the smelly riff-raff. If anythings going on while your down in Sunny Cornwall or your over Newquay way let me know. See you later crocodile Alex P.S. Arthur Marriott sends hugs

Alex, don't know if we'll be coming to Newquay but we'll be at the IOW on Thursday as well. Staying in Sandown at our 'usual' over-priced velvet carpet affair (not very Mod but we'll see it through....). We always pop over to Smallbrook ,but not to mix with the riff raff, more to make sure that all the eight year olds gravel tracking their Dad's TS1's can cover my chromework with a nice layer of shit and dust. It's all part of the fun.
Hi Martin, hope all is well. Yes, some things just can't be gotten over : my J range fetish is still alive. i still have my Indian Cento which I'm going to restore stortly ( as in, 'restore with all the chrome junk on it' obviously). I'm still partial to odd things which is why my daily ride is a Lamby Polo (having owned up to that Alex will probably now treat me to a life ban from the site). What are you riding now? Remember that smallframe 135 we went to collect for Trace that evening from St. A.? Bloody hell, was that quick. I think "Ansome" sums it up....
Dean.

"Rowe, you bugg#r!" Alright Steve, cheers for the message. Where are you and Mags living now? Any chance of a contact number or mail address? My non -work e mail address is ; speedball311@hotmail.com Drop us a line when you have a moment and you both know the door's always open over here. I've moved since you last came over and if you fancy scootin' through the Italian mountains, some ice cold 35% Limoncino, baking weather and decent grub, what are you waiting for? I'll even lend you a couple of Lammies or a combo outfit, your choice.....
Hi Gray, how's it going? I see you're doing up a couple of scoots from pics on the forum. I'd hoped to see you at the last Trogs reunion a few years ago. Of our little lot, you, Steve and Mags aside, I last heard Crabby was in the States. Luke I saw last in '96 at the IOW and he had a restored / Mod style LI although, I've not seen or heard from him since. Dan the Man is still into scooters and lives 'ooop North' nr. Warrington i believe. I saw Liam about ten years ago when I was in Brum and was totally lost. Immagine our faces when the first person i stopped to ask for directions was Liam!!! He's out of it now I think. It'd be nice to all meet up again at the reunion so I'll see who I can contact. You seen or heard from any of the old lot?
Dean.

Going fine thanks, saw Darren Cummings the other day, he's living in Wadebridge. James Woolf comes in for Mot's most weeks, he hasn't changed much, just got a lot bigger shed!
Whatever happened to those tidy modettes from ozzel, nicola, louise and alison wasn't it?
And have you got any of the original cartoons you did of us lot?
