poxy mot time in next weeks for my gp everythings o.k on it except i have my numberplate modified slightly ie it has the south west soul club logo ghosted in the background etc,still legal colour & size lettering etc ive lost my stock numberplate to put on through the mot as i always keep them for this reason,so never had this situation with him before so my question is has anyone gone to beumonts in newquay had there scoot mot'd with a custom numberplate on & just got a advisary bollicking or is he strict on it? his usualy a good lad when it comes to my scoots but i thought id ask just trying to save myself paying out for a stocker to go on just for an hour ;D

I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue Pip, providing it's the right colour and the text is of the correct size--that is what governs the legality or not. The fact you have what you say you have, is immaterial, providing it does not impede the reading, therefore you should be O.K. If in doubt--- take it to Spike---he will tell you straight! Stu
