Greetings. One of the frequently asked questions, and one I also asked when I signed up, is "what do you do to join the troglodytes club". despite one or two jokers coming up with all sorts of initiation trials and rights of passage the simple answer is just come along and join in. Several club members prefer to use Face book for communication (not me ) so you may find out more from that source but keep an eye on here for any meet ups / ride outs too. We have a bagpipe player from across the border known to his friends as Irish Kev. Here's hoping you might be able to act as an interpreter for him!

Lol I have enough trouble trying to get pepole down here to understand my glaswiegan accent, I would be as much use as an interpreter as a chocolate fire guard, especially after a few small sherries ;D Yes looking forward to joining in with you guys its just a bit daunting sometimes when everybody has known each other for many years then some heathan who cant speak proper english comes along and tries to fit in. I will keep an eye out on this forum for ride out dates etc and come along and try not to make an arse of myself.

Austell they will get you out and about . Hope to catch up soon even if I can't understand a bloody word you are sayings! Cheers

Haggis, I'll be down in your neck of the woods for a few months over the summer with work and intend getting oot an aboot on the scoot too, at least you'll have someone to speak to that'll understand you're accent!! What club were you in in you're younger days in Glasgow? I'm in the animals Fae Naboombu SC.

Fraser, I didnt get into Scooter until I joined the Army in the big bad eighties, Went to Mersea Island Rally think it was 86 with a couple of mates who were into scooters and got hooked, bought a T5 classic later that year and went from there, never got involved in the Glasgow scene except to hang around the HMV shop in the city centre trying to look cool, watching Mods skins and punks having ding dongs with each other. Hopefully see you out and about when your down, be nice to have a normal conversation LOL only joking Kernow boys
