Hi Joe , shame really , you just missed one at the Goldolphin on Sunday! Meetings are generally once a month(ish) , so keep an eye on here for advance notice . Pop along and say 'hello' . Ride safe , cheers Graham

Hi Joe, I’m new here too. Getting my PX tomorrow, and doing my CBT on Sunday 29th. All being well I’ll be wanting to get out and meet up with anyone who’s around in the next couple of weekends after that. I’m in Launceston and won’t be too ambitious distance-wise to start with, and there’s plenty of others around all over. This seems to be a pretty lively and friendly SC, and if there isn’t a meet/rideout organised already, we can arrange one. I’ll start a thread after the weekend. Cheers, Simon

Looks like we’ll get something organized soon. I stuck some photos on facebook; I couldn’t get them to come up on this forum, but the link to them is: www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.108276352627632.10198.100003358037630&type=3&l=35acfc1e6cShaun, you did your CBT recently I think? How easy did you find it? Had you ridden much before? Did you use your own scooter? I’ve got mine this Sunday on my scooter, after which I’ll give you, Joe and anyone else who’s interested, a shout. One thing I want to do is get to Bodmin, which might serve as an opening suggestion for a place to meet, it being between Newquay and Liskeard, I could go via Liskeard or Jamaica Inn to meet. I’ve got to stress though that I’m VERY unsteady until I’ve had a couple of little hops round Launceston when it’s quiet, and I’ve done my CBT. My PX only turned up yesterday, I could only fanny around in the car park here, but I was rubbish on it - my first attempt at pulling away produced a half-wheelie and a stall (it has been thirty years!) Hopefully I’ll be more confident after Sunday.

Simon,
CBT is a breeze, in the morning u ride around carpark in and out of cones etc, then after lunch u have about 2 hour ride out on the road, only ever rode old field bikes about 25 years ago so was all new to me, auto scooter helped. Ive got a auto 125 aprilia habana custom. goes quiet nice. Am defo up for a meet up.
