Thought I'd better post the dates and some details here for 'Run From The Scum 2013'. It's the 17th-19th May, the weekend before the 2nd Bank holiday in May or the weekend before Kelso as I think of it. This is all we have so far and how it would read in the Events section of Scootering (when I get round to sending it : . MAY 17TH-19TH "RUN FROM THE SCUM 2013 WEEKENDER" AT TREVELGUE HOLIDAY PARK, NEWQUAY, CORNWALL TR8 4AS. 2 NIGHTS FEATURING TOP RALLY DJs PLUS LIVE BANDS FRI 'THE SKARLETS', SHOW 'N' SHINE, RIDEOUT & STALLS. ALL WEEKEND FOR £10. FOR ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS TEL: 0845 1301515 OR FOR MORE INFO CALL: ANTHONY 01637 873367 OR ALEX 01637 877235. Gonna run it the same as last year two rooms Friday and one on Saturday. The DJs are mostly sorted just got to chase up a few confirmations. You can check out Fridays band 'The Skarlets' on Facebook or here www.theskarlets.co.uk/ if your interested. If I have anymore detail about the weekend (like a band for Saturday night) or if you have any ideas you can post them on here or you could even bring them up at a club meeting. Hope that answers a few questions and informs. . . .just a little bit.

Ok thought it's about time I did an update on this years Run from the Scum. As you may know Friday's band 'The Skarlets' had to cancel on us and we couldn't get "Stone Foundation" as we hoped for Saturday but we where able to book the "Small Fakers" again at short notice. The DJ line up is mostly complete with the usual crew plus this year John Carey joining the line up. Think that's about it for now but I'll leave you a sneak preview of next months Scootering advert.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to this years Run From The Scum weekender. Thanks to all the DJs who kept us entertained over the weekend, Emma, Pip, John, Joe, Lee, the Club Peel lads Lee & Dave and Screamcheese. Thanks to the Small Fakers for another blinding performance. Thanks to the host clubs Troglodytes S.C., Section 8 S.C. and Southern Templars S.C. and all the members who worked over the weekend on the door, manned the stalls, ran the show ‘n’ shine and helped with the rideout. Not forgetting those who helped with the organising in the run up to the weekend and DL scooters for this year’s trophies. Thanks to the management, staff and security of Trevelgue Holiday Park for their help and tolerance with a bunch of pissed scooterists, not to mention the bargain prices of t...he accommodation. Most of all thanks to those clubs and individuals that turned up and paid their money and created a fantastic atmosphere for the whole weekend, with out you it’s just a big empty venue. In the words of Young Mr Grace “You’ve all done very well!” Hope you all got home safe and hope to see you all there again in 2014.

Alex, Thanks, excellent weekend, Saturday was a bit of a blur nearly missed the ride out. Big thanks to all the lads and lassies from the Trogs you've all made me feel really welcome. Don't know if I'm entitled to wear your badge yet but if so I would really like one to stick on my parka, if some one can point me in the right direction for that thanks. Hope to come along to Liverton in June I've heard that's a good one, see you all soon
