Hi all, im thinking of investing in a decent waterproof (after last sunday) bike/scooter jacket, does anyone have and good suggestions? theres millions online but what does everyone in the club wear?

you wont regret it Richard, it makes wet riding so much more bearable, i will leave it to others to suggest brand names thou. good luck.

cheers mate, iv got a decent coat made of cordura like some bike jackets but it hasnt got any protection on the shoulders/elbows etc

I have an armadillo Parker, protection pads, thermal lining (removable£ and fully waterproof, hasn't let me down yet. You can pick 'em up down Trago! Couple of us in the club wear 'em. Chris

Just been to Lidl and had a look at the jacket........ I'd say you get what you pay for........ They look nice, just like the twice the price ones in the bike shops, but they did feel a little light and flimsy.......... I also looked at the helmet and gloves, and it's the same story, look good but made to a budget.
