Hi i've just signed up, my real name is Simon but everyone knows me as Sunbed after a clever mate decided to call me it one day and it just stuck! I've been around scooters since when The Jam were still there and was lucky enough to see them live before they split (awesome). Was living in Essex dodging XR3i's then but was born down here and returned back to Penzance a few years ago. Originally drove a PK50 (32 top speed on a good day) and did the only thing sensible with it and ripped the engine out and threw a SS180 in instead. Frustratingly it would always heat seize at 55 but it did get there quickly! Just brought myself one of the last PX125's (couldn't resist it) which is about to go up to Simon at B-race to have some improvements made. I still stay in contact with my mates in Essex who many are still riding and am planning which runs I'm going to attempt next year, but don't know anyone down here in scooters. So far i've just been trying to adjust to riding in Cornwall, big gusts nearly knocking me over and just staying on the dam thing! Hi to everyone!

Hi Simon (or do you prefer Sunbed?) -----Welcome to the house of fun (!) mate, pleased to see you've found the site. There are a few members in Penzance and us here in Camborne, but as you can imagine, we are all pretty well spread out, but Newquay and St, Austell seen to be the 'hotbeds' (if there is such a thing here) of activity!! We often travel miles to gaze in awe at a new set of traffic lights on the A30!! ----Only joking mate---the Trogs are a great bunch and I'm sure a lot of the others will be on this line to welcome you. Don't know if you will be able to attend the meeting on Sunday---it's in St.Austell this month---but let us know if you do. Alex Anderson is No.1 of the club---contact him if you wish, or call and see us in Camborne. All the best mate, Stu (exiled Yorkshireman and Leeds Utd supporter)

Hi guys. Yes I will be at the meeting on sunday so addresses can be exchanged. Sorry to hear about your finger Darren, ouch that must be bl***y sore. I still don't have my bike back so I will be going in my car. That means any one that is still available can get a lift with me and I will take them back if it's easier for them. Thanks again you lovely bunch. X
