I've got a petrol starvation problem with my GP, there's a large air bubble in the fuel pipe which gets sucked into the carb when u rev the motor! It's a TS1 225cc with a 32mm flat slide KOSO carb (PWK copy), had a Dellorto VHSA 30mm on before, same problem!! I'm using a fast flow tap, which I've blown thro, put new petrol pipe on, used clips on both ends!!! Any ideas?

from a plumbers point of view you've got a problem there!must be fuel connection to tank or the tap itself letting air in. had similar prob with aidan's scoot and had to flip the washer in his tap to sort it. when you say "used clips" does that mean you used second hand clips?! or are you just pleased that you actually fitted clips for once?!!!

Alright G, jubilee clips, done up bastard tight, does make a change! Changing the tap would be the next step, I've changed everything else. Altho I'd expect some fuel leaking out of the tap, if it was lettin air in? I've heard of fuel foaming in carb's solidly mounted, due to engine vibration, but being a TS1 mine's rubber mounted!! Wondered if changing the float height might help, there'd b less fuel in the bowl but the float needle would b less likely to bounce!!!

You might be getting blow back and í´m not talking spliff, from a plumbers point of view which í´m not, all lammys spit back petrol at tick over/low revs, a carb is not a check/nrv valve why not. Or mayby you simly need to put some petrol in your tank ;D Utter bollux i know but i am pissed online again

Just sell it to some other poor bastard who hasn't read this thread. It worked fine for me with a blue P2 I had that kept stuffing up on me. Some mug bought it and even spent loads on it to make it even more unreliable and unusable (couldn't even carry his girlfiend on it at one point). think he's experimenting on GTs now Dr FrankenCoombs.
