just checked and its a px150 isnt it? i had a 150 on my px 125, and i ran it with a simonini exhaust.with a slight up jetting and was clocked at 70mph, by a good mate of mine and stu,s 2up, so iam wondering if yours may tune a bit better with just a differant exhaust ?? as for your clutch, if its the new px, it should have a corsa clutch in it so should be no probs for a couple of thou miles,i feel sure that where you live that there will be some one who deals and tunes 2stroke crosser motorcycles, and should be able to sort you machining probs out bud ,

over the years i have spent far to much money trying to make scooters go quicker, kitted bikes you pay your money and take your risk can you not get a 200 lump from a crashed bike or over the internet if not just except its a scooter vespa and lambretta spent millions of lira developing there engines the way they are if you want your scoot to start everyday without getting your hands dirty leave it as it is and enjoy All kitted bikes go bang sooner or later and thats a fact. My lambretta is 47 years old and is slow as hell but i would rather get there late than not at all

Alrite Brian, I used to run a Malossi 166 on a PX125, this comes with the profiled head and all gaskets. It will bolt straight on with no porting but to get the best out of it you need to port the bottom end and inlet. The Polini kits are good, more bottom end power, whereas the Malossi needs to be revved into the power band to go. The downside with the Polini is that the carburation and timing need to be spot on (timing needs to be retarded) or it will go pop pretty quick, but when it is set up properly they are good kits( I also run a Polini 208 and have had that for 8 years or so, went from Cornwall to Scotland and back no probs) The set up I had was as follows: 166 with full bottom end tune,Gas flowed Crank, 28mm Dellorto,x2 needle, 125 main jet, 264 atomiser, Simonini pipe, uprated primery drive. This would cruise all day at 70mph. Hope this is of use!
